Nearly 2,000 Fond du lac residents were without power for a
couple hours this morning.
Alliant Energy says the power outage occurred at 9:45am Monday.
Power was restored by 11am.

customers on the northwest side of town were affected. Alliant says the outage was caused by a problem at the South Hickory
Street substation.
