4-26-13 walker-uw sytem money may go elsewhere in state budget

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Governor Scott Walker says money initially proposed to boost the University of Wisconsin System's budget may be used to pay for a tuition freeze or funding for public schools. Walker had proposed a $181 million spending increase over the next two years. The Senate Majority Leader doesn't think UW should get the money.
