4-25-13 fdl city council will take applications to fill vacant seat

The Fond du lac city council will take applications to fill a vacant seat on the council. The application deadline is May 10th and the council will conduct interviews the week of May 12th before making an appointment. Council president Sam Meyer says the vacany was created by the resignation of councilmember Jim Sabel due to health reasons. Meanwhile, Meyer says beginning in June regular council meetings will be moved up an hour to 6pm on the second and fourth Wednesday’s of the month
