Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a
shed on a Fond du lac County farm.
The incident happened Sunday on Deerview Drive in St. Cloud.
Sheriff’s sergeant Paul Rottscholl says the resident, Michael O'Laughlin, was burning garbage in a
burning barrel when the fire somehow got out of the barrel starting the
grass on fire that led up to a 40 X 50 shed/corn crib/chicken coop/hunting
shack combination starting on fire. The building was destroyed along
with a 1950's vintage Ford tractor. Mount Calvary
firefighters were assisted at the scene by St. Cloud, Eden , Twn
of Calumet, Campbellsport, and Greenbush volunteer firefighters.
