4-30-13 highway 23 expansion

The public got a chance to learn more about a proposed $90 million Highway 23 expansion project at an information meeting Monday night.  Project manager Rob Wagner says plans call for widening Highway 23 to four lanes between Fond du Lac and Plymouth.  Construction is scheduled to begin in 2015 and completed by 2017.  Wagner says the project includes a jug-handle intersection at County Highway K and a diamond interchange at County UU.  Wagner says when its completed the expanded highway will improve traffic flow and safety.
