A five year old Waupun boy was critically injured when he was struck by a pick-up truck over the weekend. Waupun Police chief Dale Heeringa say the boy apparently darted out into the street late Saturday morning. The accident happened on South Madison Street near Fox Valley Savings and Loan.
Heeringa says at this point it does not appear the driver
was at fault. The child was airlifted to the hospital.
