6-18-14 scott street bridge-alert

The Scott Street Bridge will temporarily re-open for vehicle and pedestrian use due to forecasted rain the entire week.  The contractor performing the epoxy deck and sidewalk sealing estimates three additional working days with dry conditions are necessary in order to complete the work. The bridge is scheduled to close again at 5 am Monday, June 23^rd.  The detour route will remain in place during the temporary reopening.  The posted detour route  for USH 45 is Northbound traffic on USH 45 will detour from North Main Street, west on Johnson Street, north on Peters Avenue, east on Scott Street and return to northbound USH 45 at Lakeshore Drive.   The southbound detour will be opposite route.  Bus service on Scott Street will be moved to Arndt Street from Brooke Street to Hickory Street.
