6-9-14 merc hole in one shootout

The finalists in the Mercury Marine hole in one shoot out had to battle 20 mile an hour winds and the winner needed a little bit of luck to win a new boat.  Tyler Gross of Fond du lac was the only golfer to land a ball on the green Sunday and   walked  away with a 16-foot FM16PS Lowe Boat powered by a Mercury Marine
60hp FourStroke outboard engine.  Meanwhile, Fond du Lac Festivals director Leeann Doyle says the crowds were great throughout the event.  Doyle says cancelling the Night Ranger concert Saturday night because of the weather was a difficult decision.  "I spent a significant amount of time in the Wisconsin Emergency Management unit along with the police department watching radar and we got to the point when we all determined it just was not a safe environment,"  Doyle told WFDL news.  Boogie and the YoYo’z and Grand Union performed extended sets on another stage that had more protective covering.
