6-6-14 republican party challenges nomination papers of ryan opponent

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Republican Party of Wisconsin is challenging the nomination papers of a well-known Madison protester who is vying to unseat Congressman Paul Ryan. The complaint filed today with the Government Accountability Board alleges Republican candidate Jeremy Ryan deceived signers, telling them they were signing a petition to legalize marijuana. Jeremy Ryan disputes the claims made in the complaint by Republican Party Executive Director Joe Fadness.
