6-6-14 first responders will be on hand for walleye weekend

Fond du lac first responders will be out and about at Lakeside Park this weekend in an effort to make sure it’s a safe event and to respond to any emergencies  that may arise.  Fond du lac Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says Wisconsin Emergency Management will be on hand to assist. "We work together with them and the police and fire,"  O'Leary said.  "We will have a cadre of emergency personnel in case somebody gets sick or if there is any kind of fire or emergency medical issue."  Meanwhile Fond du Lac police say they will use their Twitter account to alert residents with public safety messages.
