A Fond du Lac man accused of threatening another man with a
knife in front of an elementary school has been bound over for
trial. Fifty four year old Leonard Dake waived his preliminary
hearing Friday and pled not guilty to charges of second degree
recklessly endangering safety, possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds,
disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says Dake and Fond du Lac
firefighter Edgar Ramirez-Tellez got into an argument outside Evans School last week Wednesday. Both men were at the school to pick up their kids. Klein says Dake threatened Ramirez-Tellez with a knife. Police used a Taser to subdue Dake. The school was placed in lockdown. Klein says there were no injuries.
