The Fond du lac Fire Chief says an incident on a swollen
Fond du Lac creek this week could have been a terrible tragedy. Three boys were swept down de Neveu creek Monday evening before they
were able to get out of
the creek on their own before rescue personnel arrived. Fond du Lac fire chief Pete O’Leary says it’s a reminder how
dangerous streams and creeks can be following periods of heavy rain. O’Leary says its not the depth, but rather the
force of the water that’s the danger.
