A Milwaukee man convictedd of robbing a Fond du Lac man at
gunpoint is going to prison. Fond
du Lac judge Robert Wirtz has sentenced
Lorenzo Johnson to ten years in prison and three years extended supervision. Johnson was convicted of multiple charges including armed robbery, substantial battery, criminal trespass and theft all as a
repeat offender. According to a criminal complaint Johnson and two other individuals broke into an Empire
Building apartment on Forest Avenue wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks. The victim says he
was hit over the head with a gun.
According to the complaint Johnson admitted to holding a gun on the victim while two others went through
the residence stealing a small amount of cash and marijuana.
