6-4-14 former waupun cop faces new charges

A former Waupun police lieutenant accused of going on a crime spree last summer and leading police on a high-speed chase faces new charges in another county.  Brad Young is scheduled to make his initial Waushara County court appearance July 29th  on charges of burglary and criminal damage to property.
Waushara County law enforcement believe Young is responsible for a series of thefts from safes and ATM machines between 2011 and last year.  He already faces charges in Barron, Burnett and Green Lake counties and is being held in the Green Lake County Jail on $50,000 cash bond.  He is accused of stealing a vehicle, leading police on a chase and breaking into a cabin.
