There will be a contested race for Fond du lac County
sheriff in the August 12th primary election. Fond du Lac police detective Bill Ledger filed his monimation papers with the Fond du lac County Clerk’s Office Monday. Clerk Lisa Freiberg says Ledger submitted 725 signatures. He needed at least 500 signatures
to have his name placed on the ballot. Ledger
is running as a Repbulican against
incumbent Sheriff Mick Fink. Fink collected 962 signatures. Ledger will be a guest at 9:30am Tuesday on AM 1170's Between the Lines program.
