SHEBOYBAN, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin insurance company has dedicated a 400-foot-tall flagpole flying the U.S. flag. Sheboygan-based Acuity says it's the tallest free-standing flagpole in North America and the only one at that height flying an American flag. Gov. Scott Walker attended Monday's dedication, which comes a couple of days after Flag Day. The flag measures 60 by 120 feet. The stars on the flag are 3 feet high and the stripes are 4 ½ feet wide. At the base of the pole is a Veterans Memorial featuring the names of Sheboyan County veterans killed in the line of duty.
