Governor Scott Walker has announced the Fond du Lac County airport is getting a $1.4 million upgrade.
According to a press release, the Federal
Aviation Administration, along with state and local backers will fund the project. The project includes new security
gates, a cul-de-sac and revamped lanes for taxis. The federal government will pick up nearly $1.3 million with the state contributing $72,000. Construction is scheduled to begin next month and be completed this fall.
