There are two new faces on the Waupun school board. Jennie Patrykus and Dylan Weber have been elected to the board. Patrykus
was the top vote getter. "Its an honor and quite humbling. I'm actually looking forward to do those things I had in mind when I first decided to run, to really be a part of the team," Patrykus said. The two incumbents were not able to run for re-election
after moving out of the district.
Meanwhile a referendum asking if the town of Waupun should
hire a firm to collect garbage was defeated 81 no votes to 44 yes votes.
