A former assistant teacher at Fond du Lac High School is accused of obtaining prescription medication from a student. Twenty nine year old Kelly Gross is charged with using a child to manufacture/delivery drugs,
possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance near a school and
contributing to the delinquency of a child.
She is free on a thousand dollar signature bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 8th. According to a criminal complaint Gross said her purse
containing her Adderall prescription had been stolen and she wanted medication to “get
by” until she obtained a new prescription. According to the complaint Gross offered to buy the 15 year
old student cigarettes in exchange for the medication. Meanwhile Gross also faces a retail theft charge. She appeared in court this month after an arrest warrant was issued when she failed to make
her initial court appearance in January. She is no longer employed by the school
district.
