A state appeals court has
upheld the conviction and sentence of a former North Fond du lac man for child
sex assault. Thirty three year old Jonathan Gurath is spending more than 30
years in prison for multiple counts including sexually assaulting
a 13 year old girl. Gurath appealed his 25-year sentence on the sexual assault
count. The circuit court denied the
motion. On Wednesday, the 2nd District Court of Appeals upheld the circuit court
ruling.
