The American Lung Association has released its annual State
of the Air report and it shows much of the Fox Valley and surrounding areas have
cut particle pollution levels but high levels of ozone continue to be a problem. In 2013, Fond du lac county received a grade of "B" for
ozone. This year Fond du lac County received a "D." Wininsky says overall the report shows that Wisconsin is moving in the right direction. "We've been doing this report for about 15 years and the news is very good," Wininsky told WFDL news.
"Over the past 15 years we've made enormous steps forward in reducing air pollution."
