4-18-14 sales tax may help pay for new milwaukee bucks basketball arena

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee Alderman Michael Murphy says taxpayers in southeast Wisconsin could be asked to pay a regional sales tax to help fund a new stadium to replace the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Murphy was one of three panelists today discussing the possibility of a new arena. The panel was held one day after Herb Kohl sold the Milwaukee Bucks to two New York executives, on the condition they keep the team in Milwaukee.
