MILWAUKEE (AP) — Lawyers for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and victims of clergy sexual abuse are arguing over what creditors will be told before they vote on the archdiocese's bankruptcy reorganization plan. The plan the archdiocese filed in February would provide about $4 million to compensate nearly 130 victims, but it would exclude hundreds of others. Bankruptcy Judge Susan Kelley told the archdiocese's lawyers during a Thursday hearing to explain why the plan would give money to one group of victims and not others instead of letting the victims decide among themselves how the money would be divided. That information will be included in documents sent to creditors who will vote on the plan. Kelley will consider the votes in deciding whether to approve the plan.
