The Fond du Lac Planning Commission is recommending changes to the city’s zoning code and zoning map.
Planner JoEllyn Dahlin says the proposed changes are part of
the recodification of the municipal code that has been ongoing
for the last couple of years. The code hasn’t been updated since 1984. Dahlin says proposed changes address provisions that are out
of date or obsolete, remove inconsistencies and or conflicts between sections of
the code and incorporate changes in state law. Dahlin says the proposed revisions would reduce the number
of residential districts from seven to four.
