The Fond du Lac Humane
Society says all three puppies injured with bleach have been adopted. Animal shelter manager Renee Webb says the
first puppy was adopted last week and the two other puppies are
going to new homes this weekend. The puppies gained attention
when one was found in a plastic bag in a trash container in Fond du Lac last month.
Police say an 8-year-old boy dumped bleach on the puppies because one was biting his
feet. The boy's mother is charged
with failing to take action after learning about the injured dogs. The puppies suffered burns and eye ulcers. The puppy found in the trash
had lung damage.
