The library is planning a major event - Celebration of the Book
- on Sat April 12 to kick off National Library Week. The day includes a
Local Authors' Fair, with more than 20 people signed up to meet, greet,
sign and sell. Note the attached release - Food for Fines - is held to co-celebrate National Library Week and Money Smart Week.
Other upcoming events include:
- Food for Fines through April to celebrate Money Smart and National Library weeks
- Upcycled Glam contest deadline is April 1
- 3 sales at The BookCellar in April, starting April 12
- FDL pioneers subject of April 17 history program.
- Money Smart events for kids start April 5.
- earth day event for kids April 22
- Friends of the FDL Library host author Ann Peters April 15.
- Marian U history classes wrap up in April
- Registration starts April 5 for Crafternoon
- Zumba for kids April 29 & 30
