Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday and Wisconsin Emergency
Management officials say it’s a great time to check the things that
keep us safe and ready for emergencies.
Emergency Management spokesman Tod Pritchard says the first thing to do is change the batteries in your smoke
detector. Pritchard says you should also make sure you have a carbon
monoxide detector. Daylight Savings Time is a perfect time to get an emergency kit that includes items like a radio, flashlights, and first aid kit. An Emrgency NOAA Weather
radio is also a good idea with severe weather season right around
the corner.
