3-14-14 fdl council votes to deny liquor license request for nightclub

The Fond du Lac city council has voted to deny a liquor license request for two individuals who wanted to open what would have been  one of the biggest  night clubs in Fond du Lac.   Assistant police chief Steve Klein says the police department was concerned  there was nothing in the applicant’s business plan to address security concerns and says neither applicant had any bartending experience.  Klein says one of the applicants did not disclose on the application previous drug convictions.
