3-12-14 former waupun cop enters not guilty plea

A former Waupun police officer arrested last summer after leading police n a high speed chase has entered a not guilty plea to burglary charges in Green Lake County.  Brad Young, entered the plea during an arraignment hearing in Green Lake County Circuit Court.  Young is accused of breaking into grocery stores in Berlin and Markesan, and a restaurant in  Green Lake last summer.   The judge denied Young’s request to reduce  his $50,000 bail.  He also faces charges in Barron and Burnett counties.  Young resigned from the Waupun Police Department last fall.
