Two people received minor injuries
when a Fond du lac city bus rear ended a car in Fond du lac. The bus struck a car driven by a 54 year old
Rubicon woman in the right turn only lane on
North Pioneer Road turning onto West Johnson Street. According Fond du Lac police the
city bus, driven by a 54-year old Omro man, thought the vehicle in front of him
had turned onto West Johnson Street, attempted to turn right and rear-ended the
vehicle still stopped in traffic. The driver of the vehicle and a 17-year old
passenger on the bus were transported by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital
with non life-threatening injuries. The bus driver was cited for a
traffic violation, according to police.
