The Fond du Lac Police Department’s annual fall bicycle auction is this month.  Assistant police chief Steve Klein says abandoned bikes that have not been claimed by the owner will be auctioned off

on Tuesday, October 15^th.       Klein says its hard to understand why so many stolen or abandoned bikes go unclaimed.  "Doors will be open at 4pm and the auction begins at 4:30pm,"  Klein said.
