12-6-13 popular fdl donut shop sold

One of the most popular bakeries in Fond du Lac and throughout the state is being sold.   The owners of Bob and Bonnie’s Donuts, Bob and Bonnie Badura,  are retiring  after 35 years in business.

Bonnie says three decades ago she was at home taking care of the kids when her husband decided It was time for a career change.   "Bob was a social worker when he came home one day and decided that we should buy a business,"  Badura said.  "I was at home with three little girls and said sure that will be fun.  The rest is history."    On December first the Baduras sold their shop to Dan and Jessica Fishelson of Fond du lac.  Dan Fishelson says he plans on keeping everything about the business the same including the name.
