10-11-13 top uw officials salaray hikes

SOMERS, Wis. (AP) — The next president of the University of Wisconsin System could make almost $600,000 per year under a proposal approved by a Board of Regents committee. The business committee approved a plan today that hikes salary ranges for top officials. The proposal would shift the midrange salary targets for top System officials and campus leaders by an average of 17.5 percent.
