Five same sex couples who applied for marriage licenses in Fond du lac County are getting their money back. Fond du Lac County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says the decision was made to
refund the fees after a federal judge put on hold her ruling
declaring the state’s ban on gay marriage unconstitutional pending an
appeal. Freiberg says five same sex couples applied for a marriage
license in Fond du Lac County.
