MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic candidate for governor Mary Burke says she supports lowering taxes, but she's concerned about the long-term effects of Gov. Scott Walker's $100 million property tax cut racing through the Legislature. Burke says in an interview with The Associated Press that "there's no doubt tax cuts are very good." She says no one can argue with a tax cut, but she is looking at the longer-term implications for the state's budget shortfall.
