10-15-13 attorney general candidate

WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — Republican Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel says he will run for Wisconsin attorney general. Schimel made the announcement during a news conference on the steps of the Waukesha County courthouse Monday. He says he will make fighting heroin his top priority. Schimel is the first candidate to officially enter the race since incumbent Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced last week that he won't seek re-election next year.
