9-6-13 johnson votes against military strike against syria

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson says too many questions about possible military action in Syria remain for him to support it right now. Johnson voted in committee yesterday against authorizing limited use of U.S. armed forces against Syria. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee, however, approved the resolution in a 10-7 vote that did not follow traditional party lines. A vote in the full Senate could come next week.
