9-13-13 nfdl roof repair mistake-update

Village of  North Fond du Lac officials think a traveling roof repair crew may be responsible for accidentally starting unscheduled roof repair work at the village Community Center earlier this month.  Village administrator, Chuck Hornung, says the crew may have been working as a subcontractor for a Fond du Lac firm when they mistakenly began work on the community center.
However, Hornung tells WFDL news the village would like to be reimbursed for damage caused by the unfinished work.  Hornung says shingles, insulation and plywood above the rafters need to be replaced.  Hornung says it appears to be an honest mistake and no charges are expected to be filed.
