9-13-13 charges amended for waupun woman accused of asking daughter to take lewd photos of her

Charges have been amended for a Waupun woman accused of forcing her teenage daughter to take lewd photos of her for a dating website.  Forty seven year old Pamela Young is now charged with misedemeanor lewd and lascivious conduct.   She was initially charged with felony exposing a child

to harmful material.  Waupun Police Chief Dale Heeringa says the  incident is very disturbing.  "This one ranks quite high on the strangeness of it,"  Heeringa told WFDL news.  "Its turning up more and more with the innovation of cellphones, especially with younger people taking sexually explicit pictures and they don't understand the seriousness of this."  Heeringa says in this case the woman is accused of having her 14 year old daughter take sexually graphic photos of her using the teen’s cellphone.  "The explicit nature of the pictures probably could not have been taken by herself,"  Heeringa said.
