Former Dodge Country Travel Agency Owner Deborah Paul was found
guilty in Dodge County Court of felony theft in October 2012, but delays due to
the woman’s health forced several postponements over the past nine months and
taxed the patience of victims.
Among several victims who spoke out at Paul’s sentencing hearing
was Ann Marie McLean of Waupun, who said she and her husband saved for years to
take a vacation to Alaska in their retirement. The couple paid $11,498 for the
trip an entire year before the departure date. The McLean’s also paid $876 to
Paul to cover a second trip.
