9-11-13 ripon man nabbed in major state drug bust

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Federal prosecutors have charged 20 people from Milwaukee, one from Ripon and two from Chicago with allegedly having ties to a cocaine and heroin ring that has operated on Milwaukee's south side for years. Prosecutors say three brothers ran the operation and bought most of their heroin from the Chicago men. They say 19 suspects were arrested today and the other four were already in custody.
