The Fond du Lac city council is expected to appoint a prison
warden to fill a vacancy on the Fond du lac city council. Council president Sam Meyer says Brian Foster was selected following a second
round of interviews Monday night. Meyer says the council was impressed with both Foster and
the
other finalist Brian Kolstad. The council is expected to officially vote to appoint Foster
at their meeting Wednesday night.
Foster will be sworn into office at the September 25th council meeting. He is the warden of the Kettle Moraine
Correctional Institution. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Rob VandeZande.
