A new motel in Waupun’s economic development district is
expected to open its doors before the end of the month. Mayor Kyle Clark says Waupun has received a $700,000 state loan to help finance
the AmericInn
project at the intersection of Highways 151 and 49. Clark says he doesn’t believe the project is unfair to
existing motels because a recent feasibility study showed the need for more hotel
rooms in the community. The 61 room motel is scheduled to open for business June 28th.
