6-12-14 car versus house update

Fond du Lac rescue personnel say it could have been a a lot worse.  Fire Department’s Troy Haase says its fortunate nobody else was hurt when a speeding car plowed into a house Tuesday evening  at 70

Merrill Avenue.  "It was excessive speed,  you can see he (driver) came across a couple of grassy areas, went up over the curb a couple different times, and then went through the front yard of the next door house and then took out the porch,"  Haase said.  "A police officer said one front rim and tire was a couple hundred yards up the road."
