6-10-14 wi elections board to consider challenges

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin elections board is scheduled to consider challenges to nomination papers filed by 17 candidates seeking to be on the ballot. The Government Accountability Board plans to consider the challenges today as it meets to certify candidates for the August 12th primary ballot. Incumbents facing challenges are Democratic state Representatives Mandela Barnes and JoCasta Zamarripa, Republican Representative Kathy Bernier and Republican state Senator Frank Lasee.
