Waupun police say a heroin overdose victim apparently left for dead in a Waupun cemetery has overdosed on heroin a second time…and survived. On June 4th
Waupun police received a report of an unresponsive
man in the Forest Mound Cemetery. He was revived with Narcan. Police Chief Dale
Heeringa told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program two days later the same man apparently overdosed again. "Well, as the saga continues Friday at about 3pm we had him again with another heroin overdose," Heeringa said. "At this time he's being held in the Dodge County jail on (heroin) charges." Heeringa says while the man claims he had been with friends
prior to the first overdose…there’s no evidence of that in the second
incident.
