5-8-14 green lake county fatal accident

One person is killed in a three-vehicle accident in Green Lake County.  The accident happened Wednesday morning around 6:45 a.m. on State Highway 49 at County Highway AA in the town of Berlin.  Chief Deputy Sheriff Mark Putzke says a truck driven by 32-year-old Scott M. Faccio of Berlin was traveling south on Highway 49 when his truck veer into the Northbound lane and struck a Semi-Truck.  Following the initial accident, Putzke says a car driven by 19-year-old Jonathan Pizano Luna of Berlin struck the truck.  Both the truck and car came to rest in the West ditch with the semi partially on the roadway.  Putzke says Faccio died as a result of his injuries suffered in the crash.  The accident remains under investigation.
