The Fond du Lac school board has approved salary increases
for school administrators. The one percent salary increase is for this school year. The five highest paid administrators all make over $100,000 annually. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the district
is still below what most comparable size districts pay their
administrative staff. "I think we're getting closer. We are lower administratively," Sebert told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program. "...its one percent, its what the district can afford and its fair. It helps us continue to attract the type of administrators we're looking for particularily with the vacancies that we have." The superintendent’s salary increases $1500 to just under
$158,000. The director of business services gets just over $116,000 and director of pupil services will
make just over $114,000. The total cost of the increase to the district is just over
$26,000.
