4-5-14 walker to review prison warden pay raises

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Governor Scott Walker says he is reviewing a decision by his administration to raise salaries of a group of Wisconsin state prison wardens without clear documentation of the reasons. Walker said after a bill signing in Milwaukee yesterday that he was looking into the pay raises that were as high as 13 percent for eight wardens. His decision came after the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the Department of Corrections couldn't provide any documentation of a salary comparison that it said was done last year to justify pay increases.
