4-4-14 dodge county sheriff's dept. using robotic tool at crash and crime scenes

The Dodge County sheriff says a new robot will greatly assist investigators at  traffic crash and crime scenes.  Sheriff Pat Ninmann says the $30,000 Leica Robotic Total Station and EVR scene software is being paid for
through a Land Resource grant.   Ninmann says the Leica system is robotic and requires only one person to
operate, greatly speeding up the investigative process.  Last week, the Crash Investigation Team received training on the new system.
